This ship is fast and lethal. It hunts in small effective groups and picks off its enemies by chasing and running them down before going in for the kill. These packs have been known to chase enemies through many sectors. Its pilots are famous for shooting down anything that gets in their way, working to the Split policy of shoot first and ask questions later. The many different Split family clans own various sized fleets of these craft and frequently use them to fight each other when the family feuds spill into space.

This appears to be the Split ship of choice. A rather convensional design. slower and less manouverable than the Boron Octopus, but its heavier arms and shields make up for it. Extremely dangerous in larger numbers.
