A lightweight and versatile fighter and backbone of Boron Fighter
command. This ship has not altered much since its appearance in the Boron
Campaign when it was developed with the help of Argon arms technology.
Over the years it has become sleeker, faster and more deadly. Its pilots
are experienced but, as it is also the main Boron training craft, from
time to time trainee pilots are given command.

In this ship you can see how much the Argons influenced the boron design
of ships during their war with the Split. The Piranha is very similar to
the Argon Buster, but doesn't make the same compromise with the engines.
It is therefore, faster and more manouverable than the Buster but with
less space for cargo. |

I'd mention the superb positioning of its weapon systems often making
it the vessel of choice for rookie combat pilots (who cant yet afford an
M3). |

Even though this ship was influenced by Argon advancement in technology,
it is a step in front of the Argon M4 class. It has more powerfule engines
and thrusters, and is therefore more maneuverable and able to outrun any
missile fired upon it. Its Weapons system can support up to two Gamma PACs
and Silkworm Class missiles making it a very versatile fighter in combat.
It is preferred by pilots who want a compromise between speed and firepower,
and is therefore an excellent choice for those eager to fight. |
